Features of CBP One: Inspection Appointment Request and I-94 Application

CBP One™ currently offers two essential features, with more to be rolled out over the next year. The Inspection Appointment request feature allows brokers, carriers, and forwarders to conveniently use their mobile devices to request inspections for perishable cargo entering the United States. Users can also receive real-time updates on the status of their appointment requests and engage in chat conversations with CBP Agriculture Specialists when additional information is required.

Another notable feature available on CBP One™ is the I-94 application. Travelers can now apply and make payment for their I-94 up to seven days before their arrival at a U.S. Port of Entry (POE). CBP One™ provides access to a digital copy of the I-94 as well as up to five years of travel history. This mobilized version of the I-94 application process simplifies the procedure and offers easy access to information that can also be found on the official I-94 website.

Future Features: Catering to More User Segments

CBP One™ is continuously expanding its offering of services. Over the coming year, the app will introduce features specifically benefiting Small Vessel Operators, Bus Operators, Aircraft Operators, Seaplane Pilots, commercial truck drivers, and Commercial Vessel Operators. Nationwide Availability and Appointments for Perishable Cargo

While the CBP One™ I-94 feature is available nationwide, the ability to schedule appointments for perishable cargo inspections is currently limited to participating Ports of Entry (POE).
